Arrived in Heartland and let out a maniacal laugh or two in response (most likely a somewhat disturbing coping mechanism).

Met Yuura,cadetibet, and got a nice briefing about the island and about doubles. He was nice to her, even let her see what a smiling Shun looks like.
One of his maniacal laughs frightened Weasel Reiji (reijitatchi). They got along alright and 'Cuckoo' left after being informed about the various isles in Heartland bay, deciding to make it his new mission to investigate them.
On his way to the bay, ran into Mew!Shun (mentally christened "Tamer" because of his giant mutant companion),cryrebellion. It was the first time for both of them meeting a double of themselves, but they got along great, despite Cuckoo being.... cuckoo. They also exchanged numbers, which came in handy on a later date.
New Partner in Crime (3/8/15)
Still on his way to the bay, Cuckoo stumbled upon the Yuto of Hatsu's world bumbling through the streets (played throughsakatree). Not even a complicated friendship back home with his own world's Yuto stopped him from taking pity on the plant double.
The shock of meeting the plant was enough that Cuckoo was giving off only minor OOC signals (compared to a more normal Shun), which the absentminded "Eggplant" brushed off.
And so, Cuckoo took the Yuto along with him, intending to look after the adorable plant himself since he didn't seem to have anyone else.
Between (3/8/15) and (3/11/15): Settled into one of the "magical" treehouses on a chain of isles bridged by land, twisted roots, or wooden walkways within its thick forests. The place was named by Cuckoo of course, "Abridged Island" (or Isles, whichever you prefer).
Academia Shun Intro Post (3/11/15)
Cuckoo saw the fusion soldier (academiaraptor) sleeping and gave him a poke... because that's totally a smart idea. Got swung at for his troubles, but at least managed to dodge it. They... didn't get along that well, but there wasn't any violence to note at least.
Mew!Shun March Event Post (3/14/15)
Eggplant accidentally called Tamer off Cuckoo's Duel Disk at some ridiculous hour of the morning, eventually leading the two Shuns to arrange a meeting in Heartland later that day to discuss Yuto's situation.
When Cuckoo and the plant Yuto finally turned up to meet him, a short argument between Tamer and Cuckoo led to Tamer having a memory leak, which triggered one from Yuto and then turned into trashbag hugs (plus bird) to calm down the plant.
Eggplant's situation was finally properly discussed and Cuckoo decided to tag along with the other Shun to visit an island, but not before a stop was made at the double's place to get Yuto a blanket. As it turned out, they had the island wrong due to misreading the map, and they ended up having to be saved by the weasel Reiji, who Rise went to fetch.
Tamer, Rise, and Weasel all had a cozy sleepover with Cuckoo and Eggplant in their Abridged Island treehouse.
Mew!Shun's Update (3/24/15)
Running into Tamer after his return (two weeks after the guy's meeting with Yuri, with the resulting broken ribs from that), Yuto and Cuckoo found him in the plains and suggested the double go to hospital given the state he was in.
They were interrupted by Yuri (blindedfury), who turned Cuckoo into a "Chimera Animal" - a giant bird with added fiery powers, which sent Tamer into a panic attack before Yuri left with the beast.
The double followed (with Rise and Yuto staying a safe distance back) but ended up succumbing to Yuri's powers until Hatsu turned up to put down Yuri. Tamer managed to get over his bird issues long enough to heal Cuckoo - his Mu Aqua necklace healing his ribs as well - and then the three of them returned to the cafe.
Mostly just stared in bewilderment when an.... owl double of them walked in (and got coffee spat on his feathers by Tamer). Stayed behind in the cafe to watch Yuto as Tamer walked the bird to the nearest clinic.
Pretty much stayed in his chair all disgruntled and irritated when their Academia double (mentally dubbed "Fusionraptor") walked in, until a certain adorable plant forced all the Shuns to awkward group hug with him.
Hatsu's Mind (3/29/15)
In line with Yuume's (marbledmask) idea to have Academia Shun view one of her procedures so she might get permission to do the same to him, Tamer ended up joining her (and of course Cuckoo wanted to come along with him), Hatsu and the female Reiji (queen_of_kings) at the hospital in Heartland. However, after Reiji and Yuume entered Hatsu's mind, the three Shuns got into a fight and were transported in as well, meaning the other two had to backtrack to help them.
Cuckoo and the Academia soldier were still pissed off at each other, so there was a epic Raidraptor vs Raidraptor duel.
After his duel with Fusionraptor, all three of them had to flee from the 'plant zombie' Yuri, and were later saved by the 'root mummy' Yugo. At this point, Veles intervened, but so did Hatsu, and they managed to get out safely.
After Cuckoo woke (but he did miss some things) and Yuume had a go at both of them, they left together to pick up Yuto from his "babysitter" (Owl Shun).
Furnimal Shun's (Chun) Intro (4/6/15)
Out in Heartland for errands, Cuckoo and the plant Yuto ran into Tamer and the new double while they were on their way to shop for the mouse. The furnimal (rr_riserodent) explained Psychic Duelists and some of the circumstances of his transformation.
Between (3/24/15) - (4/15/15): Owl Shun moves in at Abridged Island, becoming Cuckoo and Eggplant's grumpy neighbor.
Yuri's New Garden (4/15/15)
While exploring through the isles and small islands he hadn't yet seen in the bay, Cuckoo ended up landing at (Fusion dimension) Academia island on the garden side. He didn't stand much of a chance against Yuri obviously, especially on the soldier's home turf. With a plant sure to make the Shun go as high as a kite, Yuri had a good laugh at his antics, interrogated him a little, and then... an unspeakable make out session that Cuckoo won't remember later.
After having some plants tickle him into laughing out of consciousness, Yuri called Tamer through Cuckoo's duel disk to 'pick him up' since he was done toying with him and would let him rub what's left in his Shun's face. The double got Cuckoo back to Abridged Island where Owl Shun and plant Yuto were waiting on them, but Cuckoo's laughter set off Yuto and after some other mad rambling, Owl ended up smothering him into unconsciousness (for a just a while), during which Tamer napped with Yuto.
After Cuckoo woke up, they asked him about what happened, which then lead to Tamer explain the reason for Yuri's grudge against all Shuns and Yutos. Though Tamer's esteem issues came up again, the topic was glossed over (but Cuckoo made note of it).
The Knighting of Plant Yuto (4/27/15)
Cuckoo called Tamer at some ungodly hour to tell him with the exact words that "something happened to Yuto", knowing that his double would rush over as fast as he could and get flustered by Yuto's older and sexy human knight form. (Cuckoo hadn't forgotten Tamer's memory leak from March.)
After the two Shuns got into a fight over Cuckoo referencing Tamer's crush in ways that only the most oblivious person would miss (the newly "knighted" Yuto fell into that category), Yuto convinced the double to stay the night sharing his blanket. (And those two ended up cuddling due to Yuto's nightmares from what Veles did to him.)
Cuckoo was undeterred in starting up unsubtle comments again the next morning, but Yuto was half-asleep and Tamer dragged him out of the room before he could say anything else.
Secret's Out for Mew!Shun (5/5/15)
During one of her flights out to stretch her wings, Rise swung by Abridged Island to get Cuckoo and knighted Yuto to talk to Tamer, who was determined to keep himself locked up in his apartment for the month due to the nature of his secret.
The other Shun initially refused to answer Cuckoo and Rise at the door, but tried to flee on hearing Yuto was with them as well. Despite Tamer's worries (and esteem issues coming up again) when Yuto found out, Yuto was okay with it and they hooked up. Cuckoo was the silent, but also smirking spectator to their make out session, lounging on Rise.
Cuckoo's own secret being revealed took the form of a piece of paper being taped to his back- his raging crush on Yuzu. It led to him explaining the best he could to his double and Yuto on... otherworldly matters after Tamer inquired about a memory leak (from March) not adding up to Cuckoo's account of the events at the Maiami City docks.
Yuto wanted to stay in the city for a little while, so Tamer offered to let him stay at the apartment, and Cuckoo left them to do a supply run for the oncoming storm (but not before making a trolling comment that he knew both of them would want his head for).
Between (5/5/15) and (6/1/15): Knighted Yuto's stay with Tamer turned into moving in with said boyfriend. Cuckoo continues to live in the treehouse, but just by himself. Owl Shun is still the grumpy neighbor and Cuckoo won't stop thinking of him as sour company.
